How to change the Notification Area icon that Azureus uses

This FAQ was written using information provided by Gudy and has been tested on Azureus 2.2 running under Sun's JVM 1.5 under Slackware Linux 10. It should work on any platform however. The effect of this change is to return the icon to its old white "A" on blue picture rather than the newer Frog picture. If it takes your fancy, I believe you could use any picture of the appropriate dimenions and colour depths - using Azureus.png (as mentioned below) as a reference.

To effect the change follow these steps after terminating all running instances of Azureus:

1. Venture to where your Azureus install is and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.zip
2. Open the Zip archive in your favoured archive manager and navigate to org/gudy/azureus2/ui/icons/
3. Rename a16.png to a16.png.old
4. Rename azureus.png to a16.png
5. Close and save the archive
6. Rename Azureus2.zip tp Azureus2.jar (the reverse of the first step)

I tested using File Roller in Gnome 2.8. Gudy says Winzip works. I imagine that Ark (KDE) and WinRAR will all be able to do the same. The command line unzip tool may also be able to but might require repacking the archive which I will not cover.
