Red smilies

So I recently discovered that Azureus doesn't download or upload anymore. I get red smiley faces on all the downloads, blue smilies on all my uploads and no traffic at all. There are no errors, no warnings, no connections.

I have no firewalling software, and I control the local network. Other computers on the network can use Azureus with no problems, and on this particular computer, I can use other bittorrent clients without problem. (They download/upload fine). This includes the torrents that don't work with Azureus. I have tried torrents from multiple trackers.

The only changes I can think of that might have broken something are these: 1) Installed a bunch of windows updates (Windows 2000) 2) I went through and increased the JVM cache (Tools -> Options -> Files -> Performance Options -> Size of Cache in MB = 16)

I've re-installed the lastest Sun JVM and Azureus (2.3.0.4). Anybody have ideas?

After a few days of pulling my hair out, it looks like I misunderstood a setting. Tools > Options > Connections > Max Simultaneous outbound connection attempts was set to 0. This seems to be what broke everything. Hopefully this helps somebody in the future.
